About our President Scott R. Steenson
Mr. Steenson has been active in the commercial real estate industry for more than thirty-years. Over his career, he has acquired extensive experience and expertise in multi-use land development, commercial shopping center development, tenant representation, and general commercial real estate brokerage, overseeing numerous successful development projects and representing commercial tenants throughout Texas. His professional achievements reflect a broad scope of land and commercial development projects, including residential, office space, and commercial venues at major shopping centers, and a variety of built-to-suit scenarios.
Among these are: Midland’s Polo Park, a 113-acre multi-use land development anchored by a large specialty retail center, Colonnade at Polo Park, tenants include Julian Gold, a fine ladies couture shop, local regional tenants and a free-standing Chili’s Grill and Bar and Midland Business Park, a 68,000-sq. ft. rail-served industrial warehouse. He was central in the development of Venture Park, a 9-acre restaurant/hotel complex in Waxahachie, Texas anchored by Chili’s Grill & Bar, Chick fil A, Johnny Carino’s Country Italian Grill and Holiday Inn Express. His most recent commercial development is Waxahachie Towne Center, a 36-acre shopping center complex anchored by Target, Lowe’s Home Improvement Center and Belk Department Store. Freestanding restaurants include Fire Mountain Grill, Long John Silvers/A&W Root Beer, Panda Express and Olive Garden Italian Restaurant plus approximately 50,000 sq. ft. of retail shops. His portfolio includes several other multi-use retail projects around Texas anchored by major commercial businesses such as Chili’s Grill & Bar and Brookshire’s Grocery Store. Mr. Steenson has represented tenant clients nationwide in site acquisition, leasing, and excess property sales, including Swensen’s Ice Cream Stores, Jack in the Box Restaurants, Luby’s Cafeterias, Inc., Wal-Mart Supercenters, United Artists Theatres, and Brinker International.
Additionally, he is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and an on-field football official in the National Football League. A native of Dallas, Mr. Steenson earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas.
