Summary

Gun Barrel City, located approximately 50 miles southeast of Dallas, Texas, is the commercial center of the tri-county “Lakeplex” area comprised of the Cedar Creek Lake residential and recreational area and surrounding communities. In a recent study, Gun Barrel City’s retail merchants ranked 15th in retail sales volumes among 115 Texas cities with populations ranging from 5,000 to 10,000.
